The Social Spaces project at LSHTM reimagined the lower ground floor, creating The Pump handle Social, a dynamic hub featuring a new industrial kitchen, bar, and ‘Big Steps’ seating area. Works included demolition, new partitions, MEP services, fire escapes, roof light installation, and bespoke fixed furniture.Addressing heritage sensitivities and technical challenges, we optimised cash flow and streamlined commissioning. The result? A stunning, multifunctional space set to enhance campus life for years to come.
