We transformed a disused storage facility into nine cutting-edge cat2 labs, complete with modern M&E systems, hybrid air-conditioning and advanced scientific equipment. The project involved meticulous stripping out of existing FF&E, refurbishing the building fabric, and installing specialist systems like medical gases, heat recovery ventilation and BMS controls. We collaborated with stakeholders to deliver a high-spec, cost-effective solution and overcoming budgetary challenges, supporting Rothamsted’s mission to foster agri-tech innovation.
