Khalsa Academy’s transformation combined refurbishing a Grade II listed Victorian building andconstructing a new multi-purpose hall and Sixth Form Centre. We preserved the historic fabric while enhancing thermal performance, fire safety, and accessibility. Planning challenges, including Green Belt restrictions and ecological factors, were overcome with innovative design. The bespoke bat barn and sustainable landscaping, created a coherent blend of heritage, environmental care, and modern education.
