Latest Phase at Barnet & Southgate College Complete

Continuing our relationship as an approved construction partner for Barnet & Southgate College, and ‘building’ on the success of the Block M project, our Contracting team have handed over the latest phase of refurbishment works to multiple teaching, administration and practical workshop blocks across the College’s Southgate campus.

The £2,800,000 / 26-week phase of works to Block E (Teaching / classroom space and LLDD – Learner with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities Centre of Excellence), Block R (Multi-functional office / administration, breakout area and WCs) and Block W (Electronic Vehicle Workshop Practical Space) was delivered alongside cost consultants Woodley Coles, ACG Architects and Fusion Project Management.

Works across the various blocks comprised extensive strip-out, removal of roof lights, new resin flooring and automated roller shutter within workshop area, replacement of ‘lean-to’ canopy with new structural steelwork flat roof system, fit-out of administration & breakout space featuring lacquered Birch faced ply panel partitions, acoustic baffles and extensive M&E services upgrade with feature lighting.
