Fit-out of 2-storey commercial space forming Outpatients and Imaging Facilities for private healthcare provider HCA

Working alongside Academy Consulting and our design partners LSI Architects, T&B were employed to deliver the conversion and fit-out works to an existing 2-storey commercial space forming state-of-the-art Outpatients and Imaging facilities for HCA Healthcare; the world's largest private hospital group with a network of leading facilities throughout the London that include The Harley Street Clinic, The Portland Hospital and the Wellington Hospital.

The works involved:

  • £2,500,000 / 27 week construction programme / Design & Build
  • Formation of reception & waiting areas, consulting rooms, offices, staff welfare areas, IT & communication room, Paediatrics and WCs
  • Installation of MRI scanner and X-ray facilities complete with Faraday cage and specialist associated mechanical support and ventilations services
  • Strip-out back to building’s shell along with minor demolition
  • Structural works, new lift pit & shaft and lift installation
  • Extensive M&E services installation including feature lighting, fire alarm, BMS, AHU/plant room, emergency extract, chiller and temporary generator
  • Vinyl and porcelain floor coverings and suspended ceilings throughout
  • Hygienic wall cladding, luxury vinyl wallpaper and high-end decorations
  • High-end joinery elements with bespoke Corian topped main reception desk
  • Management of HCA’s incumbent supply-chain partners including liaison with Siemens for specialist imaging equipment and scanners
